It never fails, the perfectly planned closing date fails, a document isn't ordered, or any number of things can happen that throw a perfectly planned real estate transaction into chaos.

I use to be a person with big control issues. I wanted to control ever aspect of a transaction.  However, over a decade in real estate has cured me of this tendency.

Real estate is a constantly changing situation.  There are so many different people and entities involved that it will happen sometimes that something falls through the cracks or doesn't work out as planned.

I always caution my home buyers of what can go wrong so they won't be surprised.  I always do what I can to remedy the situation.  However, sometimes there is nothing that can be done but be patient and let the chaos ride itself out.
